Hello, my name is Nathanaël Hamon. I'm an independent graphic designer.
My background: born in France in 1973, moved to the U.S. when i was 10.
Got my degree in Art History and started working and teaching myself graphic design.
Been living in Berlin since 2000; I'm really into it here.
Why Slang? As a language, slang shares characteristics with my approach and sensibility: fresh, playful and constantly reinventing itself.
Slang is a vivid and informal language that's heartfelt and true to particular groups of people.
What I've made so far: posters, record and cd covers, books, typefaces, and illustration; mainly for music and arts & culture.
From 2005 to 2006, I was art director at M&C Saatchi Berlin.
My work can also be seen in several books, magazines and on walls.
I'm freelancing again so if you have a project coming up, please get in touch and let's do it!
