the worldwide goethe-institut residencies help artists to live and work abroad. this event showcased 50 programs and provided an opportunity for institutional partners, members of government and the berlin art scene to get together. slang was in charge of the visual concept, design and production of the entire event. we created the key visual (a whimsical structure that evokes both a house and an artist’s studio), the invitation and event program. we also developed modular “islands” to display information on the residencies.
