this print campaign highlights artfacts.net’s unique approach to art market analysis and poses the question: What makes this an object of value? We reinterpreted iconic works of art by producing rudimentary replicas which we staged and photographed in our studio. The campaign shifts focus away from the materiality of a piece and implies that the answer lies in the trajectory of the artist’s career, and the recognition they receive from institutions and curators.
